Center Stairwell Mural

At Jeff Tech

In 2023, BCAT worked with the Jeff Tech art department to create an engaging, inspiring mural for the school. The mural is located on the wall of the center stairwell near the entrance, so most students pass the mural when they enter or exit the school. It depicts the school name and viking mascot, as well as imagery representing each of the Career and Technical Areas offered at Jeff Tech. The mural was designed by Mary Kay Palazzo and painted in collaboration with the Jeff Tech Art Club. Painting the mural was not only a fun project for the students, but also an opportunity for them to create something that they could take pride in and leave a lasting impression on their school. Contributing artists include Mary Kay Palazzo, Angela Dragich (Jeff Tech art instructor), and the Jeff Tech art students.
