FFA Greenhouse Sign

At Brockway High School

In 2019, BCAT Teaching Artist, Melissa Lovingood, worked with students from the Future Farmers of America program at Brockway High School to create a sign for their greenhouse. The students visited metals and learned how to transform metal through sawing, riveting, and hammer forming. Each student was given a letter to customize in their own way before attaching it to the sign. The students who were involved in creating the sign were graduating seniors, and creating the sign for the FFA greenhouse was an opportunity for them to leave a mark on a place that was important to them.,
