High School Entrance Mural

At Brockway High School

At BCAT, We believe that art is a powerful tool for creating vibrant, inspiring spaces that foster engaged, enthusiastic learners. Our 2022 project was aimed at encouraging excitement for learning through a mural that reflects the high school’s classes and extracurriculars. The mural was created at the main entrance to the high school, and it is one of the first things that students see when they walk in the doors. Designed by Emily Downes, the mural depicts silhouettes of students engaging in various learning experiences surrounded by imagery that is relevant to the subjects taught at Brockway High School. Contributing artists include Osgood Bender, Emily Downes, Melissa Lovingood, Mary Kay Palazzo, and Caleb Sykora-Bodie.,
